“When a patient is referred to me, I will perform an ultrasound of the thyroid and neck as well as an ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration if indicated during the initial consultation. Within four days, the patient will have a biopsy result and a plan.

This provides efficient patient care and quickly alleviates a patient’s fears with a newly-diagnosed neck mass or thyroid nodule. As a fellowship-trained endocrine head and neck surgeon, I understand the importance of utilizing a team approach involving endocrinology, pathology, radiology, and surgery. All patients in need of thyroid or parathyroid surgery will have their vocal cords evaluated with flexible laryngoscopy in my office before and after surgery.”
