In addition to performing hundreds of procedures and thyroid and parathyroid surgeries every year, Dr. Kroeker consults with hospitals to help develop thyroid programs and is a sought-after speaker for professional continuing medical education events. She gives presentations to physician’s offices and other healthcare professionals to educate practitioners about thyroid and parathyroid disease.
Dr. Kroeker is committed to providing attentive, accessible personalized care to all patients.
“Your care will be tailored to your unique needs. Not all patients need surgery, and not all patients need a biopsy of a thyroid nodule. After I personally perform your thyroid ultrasound, I will provide you with a recommendation based on the American Thyroid Association guidelines. If you do need a biopsy, it can be done at that visit with a result in as little as two business days.
I personally call my patients with all lab and biopsy results to ensure there is full understanding of what the results mean and to formulate a follow-up plan. If you need surgery, I will spend an extensive amount of time with you in the clinic to review all options, risks, and benefits, so that you feel comfortable with your decision for surgery.”
—Teresa R. Kroeker, M.D.
